Tree Inventory
Document every significant tree on site.
Record position on site, species, DBH, height and canopy width.
Rate and record the overall health or vigor of each tree. Paying attention to leaf development, crown density and ratio.
Trenching with the air spade and root pruning is dirty work. On this job, I was able to shoot a trench 25 feet long, 24 inches deep and 8 inches wide without damaging roots, sprinkler, data, or electric lines.
If there is a tree within 15 or 20 feet of a driveway or pool project on your property, the city or county may require you to obtain a Certified Arborist to trench, root prune and install a root barrier.
